 Biographies of the curatorial working group (AG)Ania Corcilius, geboren 1966 in Mönchengladbach, hat an der Hochschule für bildende Künste in Hamburg studiert und anschließend das Whitney Independent Study Program in New York besucht. In ihren filmischen und installativen Arbeiten thematisiert sie unterschiedliche Aspekte der Stadt als sozialem Raum. Dabei erkundet sie den Grenzbereich zwischen Dokumentation und Fiktion. Ania Corcilius lebt heute als bildende Künstlerin mit ihrer Familie in Berlin. www.aniacorcilius.de. Sofia Bempeza, geboren 1979 in Athen, hat Bildende Kunst in Athen und am Institut für Kunst im Kontext der UdK Berlin (Stipendiatin des Alexander S. Onassis Public Benefit Foundation) studiert. Sie beschäftigt sich mit Projekten zum Thema Stadt, Urbanisation, öffentliche und private Sphäre. Schwerpunkte: Intervention im öffentlichen Raum, Fotografie und Video. Seit 2005 lebt und arbeitet Sofia Bempeza in Berlin. www.sofiabempeza.org. Jacopo Gallico, was born in 1971 and took a graduate degree in architecture at La Sapienza University of Rome. Since 1999 he has been a core member of the Rome-based architectural collective Stalker, researching the marginal areas of the contemporary city. He has lectured on environmental and social topics at various universities, including Università Roma III, Universitat Internacional de Catalunya, École Supériore des Beaux Arts de Toulouse and Universität Hannover. Dividing his time between Rome and Berlin, he is currently collaborating on two projects with the Osservatorio Nomade (ON) network: the first, Kurds on the Map, deals with the Kurdish diaspora in Europe, the second, Wall(k), focuses on the metabolisation of conflicts in the city of Berlin. www.stalkerlab.it, www.osservatorionomade.net. Eva Hertzsch ,*1965 in Esslingen. Adam Page *1966 in Bedford (UK). Live in Berlin. Work together since 1998. Projects in public space and collaborations with local people in for example Kassel at Documenta x 1997 (only Page), Dresden (Info Offspring Kiosk 2000-2006) and Berlin (Okkupation 2006, Pari Mutuel 2008, NeuköllnNews since 2009). Their FOR SALE project on Dresden’s Prohlis Estate in 2006 has since become an art centre run by residents.
